Me and a friend stayed here on Saturday 01.02.13. A lovely house run by lovely people. The room was really nice and felt very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was spot on and they really looked after us. It's also close enough to the town centre to walk. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Arrived in Hexham on a cycling tour. Beautiful room with a private sitting room en suite bathroom and kitchen area. Very helpful, even lending me an umbrella for the evening. Everything is immaculate and great attention to detail.June 2016.

High Reins is very nice place to stay if visiting Hexham or Hadrian's Wall. Good, spacious bed rooms, quiet location, good breakfast, helpful, friendly host. On edge of town, so good country views. A bit hard to find, so get detailed directions.

An excellent B&B, rooms were well finished and kitted out.The owners were very friendly and helpful. It's a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Hexham which is a pretty market town with good local shops.I would highly recommend booking this accommodation.

This B&B is excellent. Peter showed us to our suite (yes Suite) sitting room bedroom kitchen & bathroom. Having spent many years living out of a suitcase from one hotel to another,High Reins knocks them into a "Cocked Hat".In the imortal words of Arni "I'll be back
